15 years of experience in journalism. And counting.
I’ve started as a radio reporter and that was the moment when the 5 Ws have begun to be a big part of my life. I’ve learned that who, what, where, when and why are the definitory questions not only in journalism but in life itself.
I’m a curious man so I had to try all the different layers of journalism: print, tv, online and the one that in my mind sums them all, the digital.
All these experiences have given me the courage to seek new and better ways of reaching the user’s hearts and minds. Because yes, a product or a brand is nothing these days if you don’t put the user’s needs in the very top of your list.
So, I’ve adapted. I’ve put my curiosity to work (again) and I’ve discovered that my precious 5 Ws are a perfect fit in the UX Design department.
Who’s the user? What are his needs? Where and when will the user use my product? Why should the user use my product?
You see, that’s the reason why I’ll always say I’m a journalist first. Because that’s what makes me a better UX designer.
I’m open for questions. And ready to show you how to find the ones that will make your product better.
